WA: Thirteen-year-old boy killed in collision at Kalbarri

The national holiday road toll continues to climb .. with the death of a 13 year old
boy north of Perth .. taking it to 16.

The boy has died after the car he was a passenger in collided with a four-wheel drive
in the Kalbarri National Park .. just after three o'clock (WDT) yesterday afternoon.

He was taken to Kalbarri Health Centre where he died before being airlifted to Geraldton.

His death is the fourth in Western Australia since the beginning of the holiday period
last Friday.



Today .. a 16 year old girl has been killed while lying on a road in the Northern Territory.

While in Victoria .. a man has died after he was hit by three cars on the Monash Freeway.
