DALLAS -- The Dallas chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) announced award winners at its 2006 Quill Awards luncheon, presented by Verizon eServices, last Friday. The event showcased the area's top professional communicators at the Eisemann Center in Richardson.
For over 25 years, IABC's Quill Awards program has been exemplary of excellence in business communication. Of the many entries submitted this year, only the most deserving communicators were honored with this prestigious award.
The list of honorees consisted of many winners who were recognized in more than one category, most notably, Texas Instruments, who took home an impressive eight awards for their "75 Years of Innovation" anniversary campaign. Other organizations receiving multiple awards include TrailBlazer Health Enterprises, Brinker International, Travelocity Business, and Towers Perrin.
This year's Dallas Quill Award winners include:
Co Jenifer Ragle and Eric Wand of Texas Instruments won nine awards, seven Awards of Excellence and two Awards of Merit in the following categories:

Co Mary Kay Inc.'s Melinda Guravich and Cindy Bouchard won both an Award of Excellence and an Award of Merit for:
-International Communication, "3/06 Promotional Planning Tool Kit"
-International Communication, "Welcome Box for New Global Marketing Staff"
Co Brinker International's Tracey Albert and Kevan Fenderson received an Award of Excellence for Multi-audience Communication: "Government Relations Communication Campaign." Tracy Brantley, also of Brinker, won an Award of Excellence for Benefits Communication: "FSA Awareness Campaign."
Brinker also took home two Awards of Merit for:
